Sofitel Athens Airport

"The Sofitel Athens airport is a little pricey but you are paying for the convenience. It is literally across the road from the airport terminal…just a two minute walk! The room we stayed in was the superior room with a larger queen bed. The room was spacious with a separate WC and a separate and fabulously spacious shower. The room also had a small fridge, in-room safe and fancy coffee maker. The staff were wonderful and accommodating (especially Mavros?) They allowed us a later checkout to accommodate our flight. The hotel also offers two restaurants and soundproof rooms. We would definitely recommend the hotel for a late or early flight."

"Beautiful hotel right near the temple of Zeus. The location is on a busier road but just on the outskirts of the inner town and acropolis. We had a Zeus view room facing the main road and didn’t find it loud. The rooftop view is incredible. Loved eating breakfast under the acropolis. Our room was small as expected for a city hotel but fine and clean which is important. The bed was very comfortable and there was good shower pressure. Breakfast on the rooftop was on the smaller side but still nice to have. My only complaint with the hotel was there are only two very small lifts so sometimes it did take awhile to get a lift because you can’t really share and walking down six floors is too much. Staff at the front was lovely and helpful- they even packed us a cute little breakfast when we had an early flight the next day. Would deff recommend to be near all the city sites that are major (acropolis ten min walk) and stay here again with our next Athens trip."

"This is a great hotel in easy walking distance of the Acropolis, Excellent restaurant on top of the hotel with GREAT views of the Acropolis. Be sure to make reservations in advance for the restaurant. Highly recommend this hotel"

"My ONLY (minor) complaint was the USB outlet did not work and the lamp on the desk would not come on with . Otherwise, the staff, the breakfast, the views from the roof top, the location, and the ease to hail a taxi were all excellent."
